Sales Director

Own complex enterprise sales cycles end to end, from sourcing through to close, selling to HR, IT and finance leaders at large organizations.

What you would be doing

Responsibilities

  • Drive complex sales cycles from sourcing to closing, working internally with product management, marketing and sales engineering, and externally with senior HR, IT and finance people
  • Continually build a pipeline of enterprise sales opportunities
  • Use consultative selling to build long standing relationships with prospective customers and executive sponsors
  • Get deep into the product. Understand nuanced advantages and differentiate from competitors
  • Develop a strategy and a point of view on how and why a prospect benefits from what we do
  • Track activity and sales progress daily in the CRM

Skills and requirements

  • Able to cold call, generate leads and bring them to close
  • Able to understand and explain the benefits of a SaaS solution
  • Technically capable enough to analyze a prospect's environment, identify the business issue and show how we solve it
  • Skilled at tailored product presentations, application studies, financial justifications and demonstrations
  • Collaborates proactively with marketing, sales development, presales and services
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Able to work independently
  • Equally comfortable in live and remote customer meetings

Desired experience

  • Significant experience selling SaaS or cloud based CRM or HCM to C-level in large enterprise accounts
  • Proven track record at prospecting and pipeline building
  • Selling to Fortune 500 or other large strategic accounts
  • Selling to a broad evaluation team in a complex environment
  • Managing an end to end sales cycle, from account planning through opportunity development to close
  • Managing a cross functional team in a complex solution sale
  • Leading in a team selling environment into large enterprise organizations
