Dovetail is expanding the development team on our line of existing products and we’re seeking an experienced front end developer.  

You'll be working on a small team that develops applications for large businesses using some of the latest technologies.

You are skilled in:

• HTML, HTML5
• CSS
• A variety of common JavaScript frameworks(jQuery, Knockout, etc.)
• Design or UI/UX
• Cross browser development and testing (IE 7-9. Chrome, Firefox, Mobile)

Even Better if you are skilled in:

• UI/UX Design
• MVC frameworks
• Agile development practices (test-driven development, test automation, continuous integration)
• MVC frameworks
• Image manipulation software, such as Photoshop.
• Browser technologies and web development tools such as Selenium, Firebug, Fiddler/Wireshark, etc.
• Some backend (.NET)

You:

• Keep up on the latest -- CSS3, HTML5, whatever's coming down the 'pike
• Can work closely with developers
• Have a desire to innovate, invent, and improve
• Have a very high degree of intellectual curiosity (We’re often inventing as we go along)
• Participate in the community (attendance of events, avid blog reader + commenter, or maybe you even have a blog yourself)

We’re looking for people that believe learning and continuous improvement are primary responsibilities of a software developer.

These are full-time, on-site positions in our Austin, TX office. Please DO NOT contact us for outsourcing or tele-commuting.
