Skype add-on can cause Internet Explorer to crash when using Dovetail Agent (Article # 333)

Problem:

NOTE: This problem encountered on Windows 2008 x64 and Internet Explorer 7. However, other platform combinations may be affected as well.

Internet Explorer may crash after performing some action in Dovetail Agent (usually actions like Assign, Yank, Accept, etc). 

This problem appears to be related to the various Skye add-ons and browser helper objects for Internet Explorer.

Resolution:

Click on the "Tools" menu, then "Manage Add-Ons", then "Enable or Disable Add-ons".  Find all Skype-related add-ons and click the "Disable" radio button for each and then click Apply.

Restart Internet Explorer and the crash should no longer occur.
