Problem:
What is the Public checkbox for on a Solution?
Resolution:
The Public checkbox is used to hide/show solutions from customers using Dovetail SelfService, Clarify eSupport or Clarify WebSupport.
If the solution is marked as public, then customers are allowed to view this solution.
It is *not* designed to hide/show solutions from agents using Dovetail Agent (fcClient) or the Clarify Classic Client. Agents can see all solutions.
The public checkbox is tied to the public_ind field on table_probdesc.
