Requests for static files return 404 error (IIS 6.0) (Article # 276)

Problem:
When trying to view (download) an attachment (such as a log file) from within Dovetail Agent or Dovetail SelfService, a 404 (page not found) error happens.
Resolution:
This can happen due to the configuration of IIS.
