Dovetail Software Adds Seeker to Product Suite
Google-like search capability works with both Dovetail and Clarify systems

Austin, TX - June 18, 2008 - Dovetail Software, a leading provider of software solutions and services for the Clarify® CRM user community, today announced it has added Dovetail Seeker to its product suite. Seeker is a simple to use full text search application that allows users to quickly access critical customer service information stored in either their Dovetail or Clarify CRM environments.

Dovetail Seeker allows users to leverage knowledge stored within their CRM system to get answers and resolve problems in real-time. It works for simple basic search in an easy to use Google-like text box, or for more powerful users, it has advanced search capabilities and queries, with advanced search tips to guide the users.

"They had become very frustrated by the prior search offerings of Clarify. Dovetail Seeker answers the need. Seeker has something for all users of either Dovetail or Clarify CRM systems:

  • For Agents: the ability to easily search for useful information residing within their CRM system;
  • For Administrators: the ability to control exactly what data users can search for, including custom objects and attributes;
  • For Developers: the ability to integrate Dovetail Seeker with their CRM applications.

Dovetail Seeker is currently available as a standalone product that can easily be integrated within a Dovetail or Clarify environment. The next release of Dovetail Agent will use Seeker to provide powerful search capabilities to its users. Soon thereafter, the powerful search capabilities will be available to your customers using Dovetail SelfService.
